I can feel my body revving up for Spring.  It’s not the explosive LET’S GO, WE ARE IN IT!!!  sensation just yet.

As I said, it’s the rev, the pre-go, the moment before, the part where I realize that something has changed… it is no longer cold, hibernation, be lazy and stay inside where it is warm type weather.

I have started making faces at the idea of hearty red-meat stews.  I am craving ratatouille, not post roast. I want to walk to the farmer’s market and admire the stacks of multi colored peppers, and inquire about a vegetable I have never tried making before–something exotic sounding, like bok choi. I feel like being that girl, the one who eats salmon and grilled asparagus. I don’t want to be a gerbil on a treadmill or elliptical machine, I want to take my dogs to the beach and actually run with them, or go salsa dancing, or just put in my headphone buds, “blast” my ipod tunes and walk around the neighborhood appreciating the flowers bursting out from everyone’s front yard.
