Spread Joy One Special Gift/Gift Basket at a Time
I was reviewing the list of gifts that I have reserved for each family member and friend. I am proud to say that I have covered everyone. I’m proud to say that I’ve managed to pick out a gift idea for all of them. I even found a gift that would please my difficult Aunt. You know the type, the kind that never seems to appreciate anything you give them. The person that tends to “re-gift” you back your original gift the following year. That would most certainly be my Aunt Ruth (in the interest of maintaining a semblance of familial harmony, names have been changed to protect the guilty–er, innocent), but this year I’m certain that I’ve got just the right thing for her!
I just recently learned that the Good Gifts Naturally now offers a Wine (Organic) Fruit & Cheese gift basket. Aunt Ruth just loves her wine and cheeses. When she receives my securely wrapped gift basket in the mail, I expect an immediate phone call to express heartfelt joy and thank you. The only thing she might possibly complain about is the fact that I didn’t deliver her special gift basket to her in person. However, my being here in Arizona and her residing in Virginia makes that a little difficult to do, regardless of any desire on my part to be there to witness first hand the surprised expression on her face when she first sees that gorgeous gift basket.
Personalization In a Gift Package Choice
Luckily, my Aunt Kris is easy to shop for. She loves teas, so it was a ‘no brainer’ for me to get her a Davidson’s Organic Tea & Treats Gift Basket. Besides a great assortment of teas, this gift basket includes: a new ceramic mug; plus several organic snacks–cranberry granola and peanut butter crackers. Also included is a Dagoba fair trade (of course) chocolate bar as well as dried strawberries. The question/problem is, will she share with my Uncle Rob? Perhaps to save them from fighting over all of the goodies, I will just have to send Uncle Rob his very own gift package. I think I will mix things up a bit by sending Uncle Rob the gift box with Kosher Organic Fruit. He still gets a selection of sweet treats, specifically, chocolate bars and short bread cookies, but he will also receive a box otherwise filled with fresh organic fruit. So they can either choose to generously share with each other or keep each gift basket’s contents for themselves.
Plan “B” (Emergency) Gifts
I also like to get an extra gift basket, just in case, either for someone I forgot, an unexpected holiday guest or as a handy gift for a host. This time of year there are so many parties and get togethers to attend, that having a ‘last minute’, no shopping required is a necessity. If you are like me, when you attend parties you always want to bring a gift as a token of appreciation and to create a great impression. That’s where I like to have my backup, gift basket, firmly in hand. This year I am making it the Organic Italian Feast. I figure after working and planning a big Christmas Party that having a gift like the Italian Feast will be a life saver. It is a full meal that just needs to be cooked. The festive and practical red colander comes filled with the organic Coppola’s Mammarella pasta sauces as well as: bread sticks; pasta; and for dessert, a creamy organic chocolate bar.
Shopping = DONE!
My shopping list is now absolutely completed. I know without doubt that I have all my bases covered. Even though we all may have an Aunt Ruth (or two) in our lives, luckily, we all also have access to Good Gifts Naturally and their fabulous assortment of gifts and gift basket packages.
So, when (and how) are you going to get your gift shopping done?
